His first filmfare. This was one of rare moments when deepika's guard was down. She got soo emotional from the moment his name was announced. Patiently waited for him to reach her after taking blessing from the people who mattered to him. Though he did not explicitly thank her she was all there in that moment rejoicing his win.

Another such guard down moment was when she was eagerly filming him collecting his best actor award at star screen awards. Typical wifey thing to do 😆 and she was doing intently 😆

Yes. She actually reads his moods well n act accordingly. He is very sensitive and gets hurt quickly but try and mask it with his exhuberance. She is sensitive to his sensitivity. Again unlike the public perception of her being stuck on her past n being an evil woman playing with an innocent lovestruck guy that girl is actually holding him together keeps him grounded n teaches him to not be very vulnerable. There is a reason why he is as crazy for her even now as he was 6-7 yrs ago.. No one would be so lovestruck if they aren't getting the love back if not more.

i love how close they are to each others families aswell, many times deepika has been seen with ranveers family, deepika was even with ranveers family at a hotel wen it was his moms bday, ranveer attended prakash padukones sports centre opening ceremony, both families were in london vacationing together, the familes were apparently at maldives aswell , and all were sitting together at the filmfare awards wen rs and dp won, rs even goes to bangalore to be with dp and her family, i remeber pics wen he went shopping with them in bangalore, anisha likes many of ranveers pics on twitter, and ranveers sis attended deepikas success bash, she even sat next to her at iifa

one of the cutest things was wen ranveers dad was cheering wen deepika won her filmfare award :)

@Bold, bang on. Without Deepika Ranveer would really have a difficult time meandering through Bollywood due to the fickleness, insecurity and fleeting highs followed by severe lows. More than professionally, it is her personal support that benefits him. She protects him a lot in her own little ways.
