SRK really needs to up his game in terms of script selection. His films lately have been very disappointing. Where is the SRK of Chak de, MNIK fame? I can see him nowhere.

I really hope he now chooses content and character driven films, instead, of the masala films he has started loving so much. He needs to take some lessons from his buddy Aamir.

He's not over but he needs to work in LOGICAL movies rather than movies which make no sense. He's not as strong as Salman who can attract audience to watch idiotic movies and hence he needs to stop and select movies which have some kinda story. I miss watching him in movies like Veer Zaara and Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Looks like he's lost since 2012: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shah_Rukh_Khan_filmography

Agreed. This is a good model and can guarantee success.

The story just needs to make sense like I mentioned even Veer Zaara had some kind of a story which the audience could relate to. Real life stories also may seem too good to be true like but when one makes a movie like Raone, it fails logic. There are so many superhero Hollywood movies too and sci-fi movies like Christopher Nolan's movies which all seem too artificial but still have some logic. I don't feel lost after watching them.
