Don't think he'll be over for quite some time. He can actually act, but I think people are so used to his romance avatar, no one looks beyond it.

I thought he was amazing in Raees and Fan, but they're diff from what he is known for and seemed like people don't like actors moving away from their niche.

well many people gave started anticipating that his laal badshah moment is near similar to how when Big b decided to stop playing the regular hero after lal baadhah flopped.

Want to see SRK in character roles which may include playing father to todays generation.

Most people it seems do not want to see him dancing with katrina and all.

He has entertained us all over the years, playing those roles in YRF tot he best of his abilities.

My last fav srk film was KANK, Chak de India.

couldnt feel to appreciate him in those avatars at all

He should strictly do character roles.

I don't like SRK but I think the reason he's failing is because he's trying to do different kind of movies - people always complained that he does the same stuff ... but sadly that's what works for him.

I feel like his movies are too gimmicky... he needs to do something more age appropriate and progressive.

He is doing fine. Anyone that denies the fever he brings about by mere appearance is not objective. His star power is still very very strong.

Some movies might not have worked great because people seem to only want SRK to romance heroines-or because the public wasn't sold on the story. SRK seems to be trying different things, which is great.

Hopefully, the public will support him and let him explore all kind of roles with success.

chirpy bubbly romantic good guy spreading arms srk is over n out defo.

simply wearing colorful butterfly cloths n torn jeans does not tweaks ur ageing dna.

his audience are old too now.so unless he gives them mature films he will not

bt due to lacking choices in scripts so i would not rule him out as an actor..i would only

rule him out as a romantic hero.

SRK will not be over till the time people keep on making threads like these, and ask the same question again and again. The reality is SRK had only two Flop movies in this decade(Fan and JHMS), not years of Flops.

Yes, people expect his movies to perform like Salman and Aamir, and SRK is failing in meeting those expectations. But that doesn't mean he's over.

He's now in the league of Hrithik, Akki, Ajay. Are they over? I doubt, so neither is SRK. He's still a Bankable star. Also he's not moving to character roles so soon. Big B started doing character roles at the age of 60, and SRK is still in a better position than Big B was at the current age of SRK. Even if SRK gives a series of Flops from now on, still he'll do Hero-type roles for next 5-6 years. Then he might move to character roles because of age, but this will also happen to other Khans even if they keep on giving Blockbusters till then.

There are some species who achieve a status and the no matter whatever happens... all the failures they still have that status. It is natural

Kindda like Lion...everyone knows Lion is the king of the jungle...lion can get old...hurt...injured...but it is still the lion...

Maybe in some situation or at some time point lion will even get defeated by tiger or elephant...or maybe a Hippo sits on it and squeezes life out of it but people all over he world still consider lion as the king

its just the way it is

in same manner shahrukh is the king of bollywood

now people celebrate his flops, conspire against him, boycott him, create tattos (mules) to replace him, present second hand flop and dry clean them as outsiders, they make a claim that he has flopped and celebrate on their own

but problem is once a king always a king

i think this is what is going on...
