I find her a better dancer than Madhuri.

They are equal good in classical but Aishwarya is miles ahead of her in all other forms of dance especially western. Katrina is a joke of a dancer.

Yup these are the ones i often binge watch at times.

Her first dance in Iruvar - she had such poise.

It's hard to replicate it.

Watching these videos I had an epiphany. Aishwarya is the best from her generation and afterwards because the likes of kareena, Alia, Preity, Kajol, Deepika couldn't dance. katrina is a joke-some stunts and booty shaking with a sultry expression any girl can do.

But Ash's grace and beauty enhance her dance which technically is lacking. She seems too rehearsed and a bit stiff and not spontaneous at all. Like in the first video, she's amazing in Aankhon ki masti, better than Rekha.

And Madhuri indeed was better in Dola Re and is better than Ash dancing strictly. Ash pasted this one grinning expression on her face while Madhuri is much more natural in her expressions. And also you can feel how Madhuri dances effortlessly while Ash seems to be working really hard like aerobics.

But with the other songs I realised why Vyjhantimala, Waheeda Rahman and even Hema Malini who isn't technically that sound, were hailed as real dancers in BW.

Still Ash trumps everyone else for me currently because her grace and aura is unmatched.
