I think its because of how overbearing and annoying her in-laws can be. Amitabh's twitter rants and Jaya's rude behaviour - I can only imagine how irritating they must be behind closed doors. Abhishek has had his tantrums too and Shweta is just an arrogant train-wreck.
At least Ash has always been respectful and elegance personified! Shes always been respectful to the media. I dont blame her for detaching herself.

Thank you for still gracing the topic with multiple comments otherwise it would hurt me so much that i wouldn't be able to gather up courage to make another topic in future.

AB is probably the best saasur for Aish, otherwise she wouldn't marry a flop langoor Abhi .. Deal with it..

secret plan ...kaunsa ..initially he said he is going to use vedika to destroy sahil...ab kya ho gaya h..

Aishwarya seems as cold as the rest of the Bacchan family to me. The abla naari tag is nothing but a sham.

LMAO. I remember one..

Where someone started the topic that AB Sr. wants male heir and that bachhans are torturing Aish to produce another child.

Baam started the fan fiction and it went on till few pages. 🤣

While I don't know about Abhi's arrogance, I've heard nice stories about him. Apparently some of these stars were partying on Ambani's jet or something, and this air hostess spilled the glasses and stuff and got all flustered and while the rest of them ignored her, he took off his shoes, and joined her in cleaning the mess and then served everything himself and sat with the hostess, and joked around to make her feel better. One of my friends who works for Ambani told me that so I believe the story.

As for the Bachchans, I think it's because they come off as unfriendly people...angry, chauvinistic sort. And while I don't think Aish is anybody's fool, SNB gives me wicked vibes. Seems like a calculating woman and they both don't seem to get along. Ek talwar mein do myaan and all that. She seems to be the one who Ab Sr supports and so I think Aish comes off as alone and alienated. But she and Abhi seem to have an understanding marriage and as there are no rumors of affairs or fights, I think it's a happy one. And ultimately, that wins over these stupid petty family issues.

Granted she's no bechari, but I'd go nuts if I had to live with a chauvinistic father-in-law, perpetually angry mother-in-law and conniving (I assume based on rumors and gut feeling) sister-in-law!

Bachchans are discriminatory , and thats about it .. they are not cruel typical in laws who wont let her work in movies lol .. as if they can dictate someone like ash .. they just discriminate between thier own children and thier daughter in law . Full stop .. the kind of gushing and aww my baby happens for shewta will NEVER happen for ash .. and thats unfair to ash too but i guess she is least bothered so her tangent of life is different .. esp after her baby, she takes her kid along everywhere bcz i dont think anyone is responsible enuf to be left a child on .. i have seen ppl like this .. fhey are perfectly fine with thier daughter in laws but they are so least bothered abt them that leaving children with them is a bad idea ..

Ashwariya is a brand and bachans are a brand .. they both take something for each other and give sonething to each other .. its equal give and take ..

I think their issues started with Swetha coming back to Mumbai. Looks like the two Ash and Swetha don't get along well. Amitabh was obviously going to side with his daughter and that has caused a lot of friction. Another thing that I feel is Jaya and Amithabh wanted Ash to just become a Bachchan and not a Rai anymore. But in south India, that's not how it works. I think they don''t like that she is still so protective and emotionally dependent on her parents. Very unfair of them cos it is exactly how they are with Swetha. And also, all this extra- gushing of Swetha as though she were in Kindergarten is quite putting off. She's not the first woman to have a career in writing!
Also, while Abhishek comes off a really nice person, he is quite a man child. I'm sure it gets annoying for Aishwarya as well. Now she is an extremely smart woman so she probably knew what she was getting into, and it could've been a lot worse.
