HE just was not for cinema a bit like Abhishek but at least the latter could act a bit. He could not act or portray anything of note well on screen, had no personality either on screen, looked like a child too, and his dialog delivery was pathetic as well. He inherited nothing from Aamir, but Aamir unlike Big B realized this and let go of him instead of forcing him and shoving him in the audience face after some time when he knew he was already a reject and nikamma. SIMPLE

imran was very natural in his first movie and mbkd. i didn't see his later movies but i loved his initial movies even the one with deepika. i don't think he was lazy etc. salman loved him, i doubt anything to do with him. it must be something with kjo

I honestly think he could not deal with the way Bollywood works. People bounce back after flops but I think Bollywood is not for him.

may be he thought instead of doing ghisa pita roles in BW better choose another career which gives him job satisfaction.

despite the looks of a chocolate romantic hero he lacked charm required for playing the romantic hero.
And that is the only genre he could play convincingly.

Cause acting ke naam par he used to only twitch his eyebrows. -_-

he tried to do diff films than romcom genre and all of them flopped in the same year...IMO that itself was his mistake...he is not a good actor...he was fit for romcom genre not that he delivered good performance there but it suited him... he should have sticked to that rather than trying to experiment when he is not even a good actor...should have taken cue from someone like Katrina...

Plus he dint even have a pr to get him more projects neither did he endrose any brands. He was irritated with a constant reference to ak in his interviews which i understand can be irritating, but he could take help from aamir as far as the kjo fallout was concerned..aamir did however praise katti batti for imran. Even he suggested a few changes in the film to nikhil advani n thought this may revive his career and told him to wait for the release n then sign films. Imran took aamir's advice when it was too late. He should have been highly alert when he got dropped from kapoor n sons but he probably realised the damage when actresses were refusing to be cast opposite him in katti batti. His interviews were also boring, he was always trying to be too nice n tsmeezdar. On the contrary, ranbir, varun have an attractive personality. Tiger's interview are also watchable due to his sauve personality which is likeable but not imran. I feel aamir's own son is far more hardworking than imran considering hes dabbled into theatre to have a better understanding of the craft before debuting in films.aamir has also stated he will cast him if hes convinced which i appreciate aamir for, not only is he avoiding us giving another athiya shetty but also not blindly guiding his son out of love.

it still pains me he was paid more than kat for MBKD. undeserved!

I think more than the underperformance of his films his career was most affected by his strained relationship with the big producers of the industry.
