He has no conception of what poor is. He thinks he was poorer in his social set, but atleast say it like that. He genuinely believes that this is not being well off.

His next story :

I was borned as an orphan. I had no food to eat, no clothes to wear. I used to beg in the local trains and also earned by dancing like a madaari ka bandar on the streets. I used to sit on the footpaths of Mumbai, with big dreams in my eyes to become the biggest Superstar like SRK. And I worked on that by gatecrashing Bollywood parties, for which I got laffas and lathis from Mumbai police. But I never lost hope and finally one day Adi Chopra saw me dancing like a monkey, and gave me a break by casting me in his movie.

Imagine going for a holiday to places like Italy, Singapore, America every year. Imagine being in Goa every year during the most happening time of the year. Just imagine the trauma the little child must have gone through exploring these locations a common man can only dream of. My heart bleeds when I imagine, and he had to literally experience all of it :( 😭

Ranveer never used the word 'poor', he said his family wud save up to go on one holiday abroad every year, many families who are not poor also save up, he isn't saying he was homeless or starving
