From the stuff RS has said about finances, it seems he was the least richest in a circle of very rich guys, which led to an inferiority complex, that he keeps reiterating by referring to his lack of shoes, clothes in college, money for foreign holidays etc. He probably saw classmates going on foreign vacations at a moment's notice, while his parents couldn't afford that height of luxury and in his mind it meant they struggled. What his uber-privileged ass doesn't get is, for regular people "not having a lot of money" is equal to not having their own house or a big family cramped into a 1 BHK. People "save up" so they can at their kid to a good school, Italian holidays are a mere fantasy. He needs to talk to a therapist or friends and get over this poor little rich kid syndrome, not blab about it in interviews and sound like an out-of-touch douche.

like i said before, wen he talks about stuff like this its about his own personal perspective, about his own individual experience, ofcourse normal working class people will hav a different perspective on such stuff

he grew up in mumbai bhandra, where alot of rich people reside, he went to school with them, so maybe he didn't hav as much as they did, he can only compare it with the people he grew up around

but in no way is he saying he is poor in terms of how the majority of the population lives

What a poorly rich statement 😆 My full sympathies with him for he couldn't go around the world and only went for 2 vacations every year once abroad and Goa ...what a deprived childhood 😭😭
