Padmaavat has unanimously been termed a blockbuster by everyone including Taran .It has more than doubled the 200 crore investment with 500 crore plus worldwide business.

well may be they are...but BOI beats every one when it comes to being a joke🤣...i have been saying this for the past 7 years...and people used to make fun of me and treat BOI as a DEVATA...the same people bash BOI today...man does the I TOLD U SO...feel sweet

Worldwide business doesnt count for indian movies...it counts for foreign movies as they r made for a universal appeal

Only India collections are counted for movie verdict...if worldwide was counted then many movies declared semi hits would be Blockbusters or superhits because of overseas collections 😆

You cant change the rules for Padmaavat, only India collections count and PV in India did not double the investment of distributors so cannot be called BB...hence plus verdict by Koimoi

I think I was the one who mentioned it (actually I mentioned 35Cr Amazon deal & October releasing digitally soon) having said nowhere did we say these things matter while giving Final Verdict, Hit toh no was is/was thinking Avg tag is what is awaited, and honestly BOI or any other trade sites verdicts criteria is perplexing

I mean for eg Dilwale ka budget was 165 Cr

& its nett India collection was 139 Cr still the verdict was

Semi-Hit, so if the Tag is ONLY based on Indian BO collection toh yeh Overseas ke basis pe kaise bacha di "apparently partial BOI" ne😕 😆

Didnt srkat say Verdict is declared on price paid by Distributors to buy the film? Not by budget 😆

Its called ROI or Return on Investment

Koimoi has the correct ROI for most movies...they go by Plus, Losing or Hit, Superhit etc
