LOL Padmaavat being called only 'Plus' by KOIMOI while BB by BOI

In a surprising event, koimoi the site that usually gives exaggerated results mostly give out films 'hit' 'superhit' and even 'plus' verdict but they r dismissed by BOI and they call it flop. But for the first time BOI has called Padmaavat a Blockbuster...while KOIMOI called the film only 'plus'

according to plus means

Plus: Film which recovers investment & yields some profit

and their verdict says

Padmaavat 25-Jan 24.00 114.00 166.50 300.26* Plus

so does that mean even BOI's blockbuster status is debatable which is when they haven't even said the film crossed 300 crores...??? Fans of BOI may not agree but the question does arise

well boi is boi they can still give padma a hit or superhit tag they can do anything 😆

Padmaavat can't be a blockbuster because its budget was 200+ cr rupees even for a hit tag it would have needed 350 crores on Indian Box office. Clearly BOI is on weed when calling it a blockbuster

Yeah I saw that on Koimoi, they have given it Plus verdict as it just recovered cost and made some profits, it doesnt even belong to Hit or superhit category according to them.

God knows how BOI gave it a BB verdict...of course the same coterie is there on BOI too so not really surprised. 😆 They always hype and give favorable verdicts to certain stars movies and underrate other stars, diss their movies and give lower verdicts than other websites.

the verdict of any movie depends on the distributors share not the budget 🥱

in this case if the distributors profit is high, then its a BB 😉

With every movie the formula of hit tag changes. Most of the times it has to make more than budget+print and promotion

Now it has to make more than distributors share... in October thread varun fans say October is safe cause it made up its revenue even before release through various other venues (like satellite rights, Tv rights, music right etc) while most of the time a movie is given hit/flop tag based ONLY on Indian box office collections... lolz I guess the formula changes according to the leading actor...
