October grossed 9.75 crore nett in its second week to take its total to 37.50 crore nett. The drop in week two is around 65% which is fair and a repeat of that in week three would easily take the film to 40 crore nett plus but it will be difficult due to the competition.
The collections of October till date are as follows.
Week One - 27,75,00,000 apprx
Second Week- 9,75,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 37,50,00,000 apprx

arey I don't know which type of movies. my type is simple. I watch movies which makes me happy 😆 that list includes yjhd ce apkgk I also liked tamasha n badlapur intense type movies. But lootera type of movies put me to sleep. during that I lost the count how many times I went to washroom rofl. Newton was boring for me.

Fan made 84 crores, it was also a movie without songs or heroine, plus it got critical acclaim, really good critics reviews, high ratings

Tamasha made 68 crores and both RK-DP got great reviews for acting.

October is crawling to 40 crores, probably wont make it to 40+

Usually "European style" movies dont make much money in India, massy audiences doesnt like them

People who have trolled, bashed and made fun of other actor/actresses "Art house" flops before this, shd not get so upset now that they are getting the same...they are only getting back what they dished out to others

And Yes, BOI does give daily collection numbers for hit films down to the last penny even in 2nd and 3rd weeks 😆 Denial mein log kitna jhooth boltey hain 😆

Nothing works in India except massy trashy movies. If something different works once in a blue moon, it's just a fluke.

That's why massy stardom doesn't mean jack anyway. Anyone can get similar numbers if they made bottom of the barrel movies. As always, it's the content that matters.

Oye do you recall that embarrassing moment when a SRK film last year just made it over 60cr. A Khan delivered a film that struggled to cross 50cr in first week it self...

Oh wait... Didn't Bombay Velvet open similar to October. Former had no strong promotions. No big Production house support. No music. No A grade actress. No fight scene. LOL. and nearly double the amount of screens of October. Even funnier part was that film was hyped by all sources 😆 same who are hyping Dutt. As for what a real example of film crashing is this

Bombay Velvet grossed a disastrous 5.25-5.50 crore nett on day one. It can't really be put into words how bad the collections are. It's hard to describe how good a 25 crore day one is for Kick pre Eid and here its hard to describe how bad 5.25-5.50 crore nett is with 2500 plus screens and a huge cost.

The story was same all over barring Mysore which at least had some sort of collections. The film suffer huge losses, in terms of the amount lost it will be the highest ever. In terms of percentage of the investment loss it will be 75%.

The film had lower collections than last week's Piku in some circuits. Even a big curcuit like Mumbai had similar collections of around 1.80 crore nett.

Bombat Velvet Crashes Further On Monday

Bombay Velvet crashed further on Monday with business of 2 crore nett apprx and a 60% plus fall from Tuesday.. The first four day business of Bombay Velvet is as follows.

Friday - 5,25,00,000

Saturday - 5,35,00,000

Sunday - 5,70,00,000

Monday - 2,00,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 18,30,00,000

The film will gross around 22.50 crore nett in week one and lifetime business is unlikely to even hit 25 crore nett.
