Budget is higher for October and Simran got lot of bashing as a film but Kangy got Critical Acclaim darling read major reviews .

Secondly Varun was earnest but not even a inch closer to the acting department of Kangy and Rao ,

Thirdly Simran as a character was actually negative, Did hardly get any audience support, But people will cry with Dan and for Shuili , If October is slow then Simran had 70% dialog in English and Gujrati .

Both the films are actually for niche audience But the director also played a major role. Even after lot of appreciations did not really do any wonders for October .

Personally I liked October much more, whole point is Varun is a star no doubt but he is a star because he works on Mass films. In this kind of films Vidya , Kangana ., Varun all are in almost same place. Give them Massy films, they will work , let the actor in them choose good or different characters , If the film is not good they will not work .

Industry hardly makes strong massy films with Female Lead .

Sorry the only young actor whose fan I am is Ranveer lol not interested in these other part time wannabes 😛

I liked Sid in EV but since then he's gone downhill and has nothing to offer. Perhaps if he was someone's son he could've been better groomed
