Eros International, has been working cautiously over the last few months but now it seems they're going to be a massive force to reckon with in the industry once again. According to trade buzz, the company, is on the verge of some really massive deals which are been ironed out and will be announced in the coming few weeks. Some big fi lms are been picked up and even some substantial announcements from their organic production section is also going to be made very soon. We are glad that Eros is coming back in full force!

One of the best aspects of filmmaking is when two different people plan to come together and tell tales together. And according to our highly placed sources, that is exactly what is happening these days between actor Ranbir Kapoor and filmmaker Luv Ranjan. The pair of them have had a few meetings and are planning to work on a film together. The details of the same are scattered just yet but things are said to be moving at a brisk pace. Ranbir in the past has had publically admitted that he would love to work with Luv and it seems that their stars are aligning finally. Our source further revealed that Luv gave an one line idea to Ranbir in one of their recent meetings and Ranbir liked the same. Now the filmmaker has gone to his writing desk and is sketching out a broader story flow which he will come and narrate to Ranbir very soon. Now here's one collaboration we cannot wait to take off.

The much awaited Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala's co-production KALANK went on the floors this past week. The shooting of the movie started on what people in the industry are calling one of the biggest and most jaw dropping set they've ever seen. The movie has an all star star-cast which includes Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapoor. On the opening day however, the unit shot for a lavish song which was shot on Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani who is going to be seen in a special appearance in the film. The unit will shoot for a month in this massive set in Film City and then the shooting will be shifted to another massive set which is been readied in a huge open ground in Andheri. Kartik Aaryan has been flying high after the super success of his recent release SONU KE TITU KI SWEETY. The actor had not signed his next after the release and there has been a lot of talk in the industry as to when will he be signing on the dotted line. Now it seems that he has finally liked something that matches his fancy. The movie in question is a quirky desi romantic comedy which is going to be directed by debutant Laxman Utekar who is a seasoned cinematographer with movies like DEAR ZINDAGI and HINDI MEDIUM under his belt. The movie is going to be produced by Maddock Films and the movie is going to be mount the sets by the end of the year. The makers are currently on the lookout for an actress and then a formal announcement of the film is going to be made. Watch this space!

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana has just completed the shoot for his upcoming movie BADHAAI HO co-starring Sanya Malhotra in the lead. Plus the actor also has director Sriram Raghavan's next SHOOT THE PIANO PLAYER already completed as well. Now Khurrana has gone and given his nod to fi lmmaker Hansal Mehta for his next. The new movie in question is going to be a thriller and will be mount the sets by the end of the year. The fi lm is going to be produced by Shailesh Singh and Mehta as well. All the other details of the project are under wraps and the makers will reveal it all once Mehta is done with the release of his forthcoming OMERTA.
