why is PC doing 2 bit roles in HW movies leaving behind leading roles in her own hometown? It is sad to see this for the second time after baywatch..

I posted pictures from the 5 days Priyanka shot for the film and Priyanka has always said she has a small supporting role in it. So I don't understand what the issue is.

money...same reason a doctor or engineer drives a taxi in US over working in their country as a professional..dollar

PC is a disgusting shameless example of a famous former and retired actress of her own country doing tv roles and cheap 2 sec roles in hollywood to remain relevant. though i am not indian myself ..i just feel the pain lol. its so wrong.

Priyanka can easily work in Bollywood, Priyanka can produce movies for herself where she's in every scene but if she's wants to struggle and work her way up in HW that's up to her.

Priyanka is producing movies and shows for other people/regional talent/new talent, if she wanted to take to easier root she could do that for herself too.

When she left some people said she might as well leave BW because so many actors/producers weren't willing to work with her, bad relationships etc. She left and did things no other Indian actress had ever done in the West. (Yes there was Frieda but she was kind of over before she even started and yes there have always been a handful of Indian actresses who get work here but not magazine cover kind of actresses). She was a leading actress in BW. Been there, done that. Why should she tuck tail and run back for more of the same. Kudos to her for trying new things. As far as the focus on the size of her role that is such a BW mentality. Many many respected actors in the West do small roles in good films even when they are already stars. For someone from another country who hasn't really proven she can act (some of Quantico is cringeworthy but is that her or the show?) the best thing she can do is take roles (whatever the size) that allow her to prove she can. Keep acting and let stardom handle itself. Seriously google the filmography of the Oscar nominees for best actress this year sometime and see how they started. The youngest is Saoirse Ronan who has done about 20 films (excluding a cameo in a Muppet movie and dubbing) - how many of them can you name?
