If we are talking serious then I would say,

There are no specifics. Sometime it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I have 2 couples around me. One has kids with 5 years age gap and another with 2 years. Each of em keep listing the benefits of having kids closer or having them with a gap of 4+ years.

So, it depends.

My neighbor has 3 kids in age range of 5, 3 and 1 year olds. Plus 2 dogs. Socho kese manage karte hoge. Trash cans me Pizza ke boxes dikhte hai every week. 😆

Nah am sure this is Mira's decision to have another kid this soon. She has said since day 1 that she wants 2 kids & "then be free to do what she wants." So not a surprise if she is pregnant, at all! I would say. If she's glowing so much, could be a baby girl, awww. Misha is such a lovely baby. 😳

B2: My sibling & I have an age gap of nearly 6 years but it doesn't work in our case AT ALL! LOL. We fight CONSTANTLY! But leave us alone & we are fine, lol. My cousins have an age gap of 3.5 years & they're a boy & girl & fight a lot too. She loves to dominate him & he's all, leave me bro what is this shizzz, lol. Also know of sibs who are 1.5-2 years difference & either love each other to death, or hate each other to death. 😆

Doctors advise to wait for 2-3 yrs before trying to have another kid though. Hope they are well aware of that. 😳

To each their own. Some women want to be married young and have kids back to back.

There is a part of me that is concerned because Mira seems young and naive. There is a part of me that is concerned because Shahid often acts very patriarchal. But I cannot impose my morals on Mira. So far it seems that this is what she wants.

I do wonder if she will regret it someday though.

My sister is 1 year and 3 months older than me, we grew up together, and we're the best of friends. I don't get all this concern. It's probably hard on the parents for the first 5 years but after that they are free and clear. If there is a big gap, they have to go through the sleepless nights, running after a toddler, potty training, feeding babies...all over again. That would be like devoting 10 years of your life to babies instead of 6 or 7 years. I think a 2 year gap is the best.

Not surprised actually. I feel like all this talk of doing what she wants in her 30s so having kids early, may just be only that. Maybe she doesn't want to have a career or Shahid is letting her think that she will have one but doesn't really want that for his wife. Maybe she will always be at home/ by his side in interviews etc. Until that really happens, I am inclined towards believing she is getting brainwashed or doesn't want a career but doesn't want to admit it.

That means Misha will be 2 yrs old when the 2nd one will be born

Some couples prefer to have them quickly with short gap so they will grow up together and then Mom can be free to do what she wants when kids are teenagers...but it rarely turns out that way

I dont think Mira ever intends to have a career anyway so its all good
