That's BS! This case would have died long ago if he was bribing his way out of it. So if you believe that he's the one who killed the deer and deserves the 5 year sentence, I would assume that you believe that the rest should also receive a sentence, albeit a shorter one and not be acquitted. After all they were with him and were accused of encouraging him. You can't just believe in justice against one person.

Also how is he being let off easy in this case when you don't hear of anyone else (regular folks) being sentenced for 5 years of poaching?

I'm sorry but in this particular case, the sentence is too harsh.

It's working. That's why he's been roaming free for 20 years. He got away from killing people too. He has ruined witnesses' lives too. Read up on what happened to Ravindra Patil. And he consistently uses Being Human in court to show he should be let off. He's even made excuses about poor health and how he can't handle jail.

The others were let off because they didn't kill the deer. He did.

And lol and people arguing the sentence is too harsh. Well the maximum sentence always apply for people with past criminal records and run in laws. The courts always decide based on if it's first time suspect or a repeat offender.
