Rani - Love her! I think she is an amazing actress!!! She's simple, beautiful, and above all extremely talented!

Ash - She's beautiful, but over the past few years I have begun to dislike her. I have my reasons, but as this is a no bashing post. I will keep those comments to myself 😃

i like rani because she is wonderful actress with great talent...her acting is really good she has done different roles almost in her every movie take it black, BNB,humtum,yuva saathiyaa,kkhth and some more which i can't think of right now 😊

Aishwarya is very gorgeous...that's all I like about her. I think she's a very very bad actress (which is clear to anyone who has seen Dhoom 2) and I don't like the fake attitude and accent she puts on in her interviews😕

Rani is not drop-dead gorgeous like Aishwarya but she is beautiful in a different way. More importantly, she is a brilliant actress and that is her job😃

They are both professional actresses so I like Rani much more as she is the best actress in India, way better than Aishwarya. If I had to judge them in a beauty contest, I'd pick Aishwarya😉

Of the two, definately Ash.

On one hand is Rani who usually plays a hyper, bubbly, loving character most of the time. The first time she tried something different than the hyper-bubbly image, she failed miserably! Her act in Black was not convincing enough. The little child who enacted the same character had this special kind of elegance to her, which Rani, sorry to say, couldn't portray very well. She didn't look blind...more like a chic who decided to wear sun glasses inside her house. On the other, there is Ash who plays almost any good character that comes her way. In Taal, she was a culturized girl towards modernization, in D:2 she killed me with her annoying "like"s but there are infact people I know who say "like" after every second word they utter so I found her annoying wanna-bee act very convincing. I guess you could say I'm being biased but I loved her acting in Umrao Jaan.

Another reason I prefer Ash over Rani is, Rani was claimed to be oh-so-great when she conceitedly bagged Ash's role in CC. I also have many other reasons for disliking her, which if mentioned, can create an unpleasant atmosphere on the forum, so I'll keep them to myself.

well people always love underdogs...in this case rani.

rani's stardom began with 'chlate chalte',before that she did forgettable movies with govinda,bobby deol and salman..in CC ash's loss was ran's gain..

after ash's fallout with srk,she lost veer zaara(simi announced on rendezvous..she lost 5 films)..preity became an A list star with KAL HO nAHO..and both rani and priety benefited with VZ and KANK...all major hits with srk!!!rani had a splendid hit with black and AB-though she shared screen time with the child atriste.

rani and priety are big stars today mainly due to their association with srk...

now to ash..she is a very selfconscious actor!!but her stardom is amazing..people can shout over roof tops that the movie is a hit due to hrithik..but hrithik had done such roles earlier too!! this craze was due to his pairing with ash...and roshans understand only too well!!

the NEW remix 'krazy kiya re'..showed on every channel.. 24/7..is all about ash in all her glory!!!..why not promote 'dhoom again' for a change...crazy is giving me a headache...BUT yashraj banner knows what they are doing..what ever the crtics might say,they know where to get their crores from.."koi unse seekhe"!!

today the media chases her round the globe...she sneezes it is news..the way bacchans are flaunting their new would be bahu uff!!(premier of baabul..poor rani.. all people wanted to know was about ash abhi sallu)

i have seen ash on oprah,60 mins, cover of Time ,her posters in europe during a holiday this summer..

jo bhi ho..she is a star ⭐️

rani cuz she's beautiful, talented n most important of all she has a wonderful personality!!

The main reason IMO Ash is antagonized because she is ambitious, extremely good looking and doesn't discuss everything about her life to the media.. They also have preconceived notions or judge her because of her beauty... Fans of other actresses don't like her because she is recognized internationally..

actually a while back , wen ash first came and maybe until the year of lyk 2003... everyone luved ash... i was suprised to see y ppl luv ash wen we have loads of other actresses around who r upto her mark but the thing that i noticed is that as soon as ash's personal life became known ppl started hating her, lyk wen she broke up wid slaman, i can gurantee u that the way she had broken up wid actors and then gotten into a new relationship wid other actors is truly a big reason y sum girls hate ash...

there r more ppl out there who adore the rani-abhi jodi, not that many ppl who really lyk the ash-abhi jodi, now that abhi-ash r appearing as a couple, sum ppl r luking at ash in a negative way, ash as made this negative image w/ this making and then breaking relationships, that is wats leading girls to hate her, cuz i dont see y all of a sudden sumone wud hate her... wats there to hate ash? she never did sumthing to anyone out there... i feel its just how she is portraying herself wid all these relationships, and i think this myt not be the only reason, but i dont think any girl out there wud be jealous of her beauty 😕, there r so many other actresses out there who r really beautiful and ppl still luv them... and wen ash is doing a gud thing out there by representing india globally, y shud any girl be upset at that, isnt that a gud thing?

- She doesn't bitch about actresses behind their backs and act all saccharine and sweet to the face.

- She doesn't waste time discussing every aspect of her personal life to the media

- She is a gutsy woman who has the tenacity to take on the male-dominated Bollywood and make a name for herself without licking the boots of so called Bollywood bigwigs

- She is the only actress who doesn't need the support of SRK, Aamir etc to make her presence felt

- She endorses global brands like Longines, LOreal etc and isn't afraid to think outside the square she's in and is willing to take risks even if that means Indians will antagonize her for being an ambitious woman

- She isn't afraid to choose movies like Raincoat, Choker Bali, Guru etc which aren't commercially viable.

- Despite Indian media and other people always putting her down, she doesn't let them affact her and carries on with her work and works harder.

- Her family values..

- She is very sweet to her fans and her co-stars..everyone who has worked with her raves about her..

- She does public service commercials without charging anything and has her own charity foundation..and doesn't take camera with her when doing charity work.

and there are many other reasons and i can keep going

I think many just misunderstand Aishwarya, She may have a wonderful personality and ofcourse she has the most beautiful face! But, due to the media, she has had many up's and down's. Especially the Salman/ Vivek saga. She has just had the wrong image in the media! But still hats of to the people who still support her and love her.

Rani, a family orientated, girl-next door image has won many indian's heart. Maybe in the image of Rani, looking for a dedicated actor like Madhuri?? She has nearly all her recent hits in her kitty!
