and Tiger's fan follnwing damn. People were figthing for the ticket, me and my friends despite havin online ticket, have to sit apart in this single screen.
This is like Sallu and Aamir's opening.

Just back from Baaghi 2..Much better than the first part overall.The action pieces and production values are much bigger this time around .I was entertained for the most part except when the mystery is revealed which kinda dilutes the impact of the overall film ..

Much like the first film ,here too the story oscillates between the past and present .The romantic angle is developed rather well which is why one feels sad when the lovers drift apart .

The very first scene sets the ball rolling and the mystery deepens when the story progresses further .The suspense angle has been maintained right till the climax .

The interval point especially is a highlight when the confusion regarding child's existence reaches an all time high.Unfortunately the second half is bit of a downer with story taking a back seat over action .The action is greatly executed but somehow the punch of first half is missing.

Even the climax left me dissastisfied when the real culprit is revealed .It was kinda predictable.The father daughter angle is emotional and saves the climax from being a complete downer.

Tiger does well ..He has improved so much .The action scenes are jaw dropping especially.Disha is okay.

Randeep Hooda is grossly irritating especially with that gate up.Manoj plays the' negative part rather well .

Overall a decent entertainer for sure .

Just reached home.

Before giving the review, let me talk about Tiger and his star power.

Today, it was a cloudy, rainy and holiday(Good Friday) here in Shillong.
These kind of people here avoid going out, sit at home and chill.
So I thought turn out in hall might be less, and I also had already booked our(me and my 3 friends) tickets online, so I thought I would go late , just on time.

Than I reached hall(single screen), and I was shocked to see people were fighting for tickets, climbing on one another. Normally ticket counters are closed 10mins before movie starts, but here it was still on. And atleast 30-40 people returned with no tickets, saying "kal ayengay" and "8 baje ka show gold main(the posh cineplex)".
A little background about the single screen hall here. The hall is not well managed and despite online booking, we never get the seat we booked. The workers here arrange audience according to their calculation.
And it seemed like today, the thearter people sold more tickets(because they hardly keep tab on online booking) than seats available in balcony segment. Few people even left demanding refunds and thearter people either promised refund to some or arranging tommorow show to other.

We friends entered the cinema room and were shocked to see no seat to sit together(4 of us) there, movie also started and we watched the first few parts standing, than I was thrown to one corner, another two friend in another corner and the unlucky friend was sent to the lower segment(box).
I was angry at first, but later on I laughed and applauded the star power of Tiger, the applause and cheers he got today is similar to the ones Dangal, Bahubaali and Tiger got. It was sensational, surely if Tiger maintains it, he is the new SUPERSTAR.


Now coming back to the movie review.

Baaghi 2 is miles better than Baaghi, which in all honesty rode on Tiger's action and Shraddha's butt.

Baaghi2 is a much better story, better direction and overall a gripping screenplay.

The movie has a solid storyline with a well build, tense and suspence first half along with the hilarious scenes of Randeep and his rotlu assistant Bosco, whose face is never shown in the movie, a very interesting part.
And that fight in police station, damn, stylish and dhashu to the T.
The chemistry of Disha and Tiger is much more organic and natural than part one.
Second half is filled is actions, and damn it is the best action I have seen in BW.
Tiger was looking outstanding, he was super angry mode after tragedy before interval and actions were jaw dropping, more brutal action, than the stylish first half action. Especially when he reaches the villain's den in the end, it was rambo meets commando meets Ong bak.
Although I would have loved if Tiger ripped apart the main villain's heart.
The climax is sweet between the kid and Tiger.

Everyone was clapping in the end.

Now coming to performances.
Tiger was intense throughout the movie. And when it comes to action, he is second to none. Not only he looked great, he was much believable. A total superstar.

Disha was decent when it came to acting, but she is such a cutie, everyone automatically loves her.

Randeep, Prateek, Darshan, Deepak and Manoj did their parts well, although they didn't have enough material to wow.

Technically, movie is a 6/10, but Tiger evaluates it to 7/10.


But when the hero is having such craze with fans in single screen, technicalities don't matter at all.
