I was wondering, in the age of stars promoting their kids into media left right and center, Why is Aamir Khan's son Junaid not being promoted given that he is an aspiring actor ?

I found this a bit strange and then i researched about him to find out this 24 year old lad is a trained Actor from LA. He started working at the age of 18-19 as an assistant to Raju Hirani in P.K and then left to LA to pursue a degree in degree in theatrics from the American Academy of Dramatics and Arts. This acting school clears students after an audition for a two year programme. Admission in the third year are only by invitation which means only a selected candidates get through in this advanced acting programme where you act in plays on stage playing complex characters. Junaid was in the third year programme too.

After completing his course, he came back to India and auditioned for theater plays and debuted in Thakore Padamsee's play Mother courage in August.

Junaid is 6 3" and with the kind of makeover Bollywood actors get, i think he will do quite well in Bollywood given the fact that he is Aamir Khan's son. But why is Aamir not launching junaid as yet?

Mentioning that his eldest son, Juanid, loves to act in plays, he adds, "Theatre does not help him earn money, so he works as an assistant director for commercials so that he can make his pocket money.

And what if the kids want to work in the industry? "Junaid can join me any time! In fact Junaid has worked with Raj Kumar Hirani. Ira is studying now and we will see what she would like to pursue. As a parent I am always with them.

But why is he not in news like the other star kids? Jhanvi kapoor gets clicked outside gym everyday..Sara is supposedly flooded with offers. This boy is tall and goodlooking then why no Bollywood as yet ?

When he will sign the film his pr would get activated.

Right now he has nothing so no pr and keeping the intrigue of mystery.

I would rather look for ira debut since she looks cutie.

read in an article that Junaid is interning Aamir...

If Junaid debits and becomes a leading hero, he'll be there tallest one whole the shortest one will be his father. Funny

OT: I just hope Aamir does everything in his capacity to help his son. He seems capable & I would like to see him onscreen. He's sooo tall too!

I just hope no one cries nepotism when Junaid steps into bollywood.

Aamir is already called all sorts of names like fake, pretentious etc. inspite of doing good for the society..if he decides to do something for his own family he will be crucified
