Its obvious that Sara is wanting to seize any opportunity she can and make her debut, as Kedarnath seems to be getting delayed all the time. In Bollywood, actresses try to debut before 22-23 so that they can have a greater shelf life, coz the shelf life of actresses is sadly a bare minimum compared to actors. The audience lauds for the 50+ khans, but actresses can't seem to go past 30 without the number of films reducing and reducing.
However, I really think Kedarnath would be a better debut for her. The role somehow seems better. She would have more to do. Her character would have more shades and complexities, and would give her the opportunity to execute different nuances, modifications, etc.

A Rohit Shetty film is a hero's film. There is no scope for an actress to showcase her talent. People may argue that Deepika didn't have a flowerpot role in CE, her role was important, but tell me, was it complex or difficult to play at all? It was a unilinear character, a flat character with no character growth or arch. Anyone could have played that role.
If Sara wanted to portray herself as an good actor from her debut film itself, then a typical masala Rohit Shetty film wasn't the way to go.

I'm sure if Sri was by her side, she would've only chosen good roles and rather prefer waiting for them.

Regarding the age gap thing, even I don't mind if they actually suit the roles but somehow I feel very odd watching these young actors with older male leads. Alia anyways looks like a kid in whatever film she does, Sushant would probably play a teenager in TFIOS if they go by the actual story and I'm pretty sure Ranbir's again going to play a younger guy in Brahmastra 😆

Yes with Sridevi around she would have guided her daughters. But now Jhanvi is more or less on her own. I dont think Boney has much sense in these matters. If Jhanvi is successful she will be able to help out her sister.
No I didnt mean I like seeing age gap couples. 1-2 times is fine like Cheeni Kum but every story cant have an age gap. I would rather see the current lot of top actresses stay on. Maybe some even make successful comebacks so that we see age appropriate couples in every age group.
Also BW like HW should start casting appropriately and find newcomers if required for big movies if they want to survive. I am glad we now have atleast a couple of newbies who seem promising like Banita Sandhu, Sanjana Sanghi who COULD be an option beyond starkids.

And I thought this older hero and daughter /sister ki age ka heroine trend would get over with the Khans. Looks like it won't. 🤢

Waise dekha jaye, unlike SOTY and Simbaa, Kjo actually chose a really good role for Jahnvi, probably the meatiest of all the star kid films from Dharma given how Sairat revolved around Archi more than the guy. And we were speculating that Kjo is delaying the film so that Alia has no competition. 😆Also, atleast Jahnvi is making her debut with someone of her age. Bollywood is really in need of young talent. (And by young, I mean teenagers and young adults and not 35 year olds dressing up school going kids like in Jagga.)

More likely Jahnvi's Dhadak will flop no matter how meaty her role is. As who wants to watch 2 unknown newcomers? But seems like Sara's will be a hit with Simbaa. As Ranveer is already an established actor.

A hit movie as a debut is more better than a flop movie with a meaty role. So Sara should debut with RS's Simbaa.

You may think so. But then she would be no better than Sonakshi, who has many hits to her name, but hardly any memorable role.
Why is it that actors always get hits+better chunk of the film+better and meatier role whereas for the actresses its a choice between a good role and a hit film?

And like you said yourself, "RS's Simbaa". It will always be his Simbaa. It will never be "Sara's Simbaa". But it would have been "Sara's Kedarnath".
A Rohit Shetty film will always be the hero's film.

How would you know it'll be ''Sara's Kedarnath''? It can very well be ''Sushant's Kedarnath''..as by the title it seems he has the titular role.

Just like Alia debuted with a crappy but hit movie SOTY.. but later followed with many meaty roles like Highway, 2 States, Udta Punjab.. A hit movie as a debut always helps. It shows an actor is bankable.. & hence gets more offers.

These both are doing show in star plus by saying "Na khandan aur na sifarish" and ended up casting a star kid. 😆

That star plus show wasn't looking for a leading lady for simmba, it was looking for an actor and actress to star in another Rohit and kjo film

And kjo was always gonna cast Sara in one of his films, he seems to be the one recommending Sara and jhanvi go to all the parties and advising them on how to stay relevant
