Including Student of The Year, the young actor has worked in 9 films and all have them have been successful at the box office. While Student of The Year, Badlapur and Badrinath Ki Dulhania attained the Super-Hit verdict, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Judwaa 2 were termed as box office Hits.
Varun Dhawan's run at the box office can simply be compared to the likes of Rajesh Khanna (1969 to 1972) and Salman Khan (2010 to 2018), although the magnitude of hits delivered by Rajesh Khanna and Salman Khan were much higher. While Rajesh Khanna acted in 15 consecutive successful films in a span of 3 years, Salman Khan has delivered 12 consecutive successful films and the count is expected to increase further with Race 3 slated to release this Eid.
