KK is painfully underrated.. I love him more than Sonu actually.. Sonu is so cute - one of the best singers ever. KK is also a great singer, but sounds niiice - manly, like Pallavi ji said :p ..maybe emoting is where Sonu is better than KK.

I never listened to KK properly until a few years ago , and he has very very good range too. In Chale Jaise Hawayein(Main Hoon Na), he sings so softly, like a breeze, it drives me mad.

bt honestly kk sounds as if he needs no extra efforts so kk gets

KK is very much underrated. Sonu is not overrated though. Sonu is good with emotions while KK's voice is very mainly and has that casual appeal. His song tu hi meri shab hain is my all time favourite..

those saying sonu over rated tell me single name of any singer who have better command on voice then sonu i will also start saying it lol no one in bollywood is as tayar as sonu is kisi ka reyaaz nahi sonu jitna bollywood main .. na udit na kumar sanu na arijit na arman :) no singer in bollywood attemtpted different genres except rafi and sonu , i love kk too dont know why his brand is not as big as sonu sanu udit

who else can change voices to different song then sonu, sonu dont have one voice he sings in various styles and voices

KK is my favorite singer, manly booming powerful voice he has so many amazing tracks to his credit

Sonu is good ha sung some nice songs, but just not my type.

although in duets sonu outshine kk :)

rehna hai tere dil main sonu and kk .. there was one more ek pal kaleiya he sahi

Every singer has their plus and minus Sonu included, it's just a matter of personal preference

KK has a powerful throw in his voice and he can reach high pitch without sounding strained.

He has a very contemporary voice .

You should listen to some of his Tamil songs, amazing

I love his uyirin uyire from kaaka kaaka,.a Tamil movie

What reach and how effortlessly he has sung

Sonu Nigam is overrated, he has talent but for me, I would prefer to listen to KK songs than Sonu songs.

See thats it for you put romance above everything you like them type of soft voices so you like him, others don't and others find his voice too thin and wavering and effort induced when he goes high pitch, Sonu too me has to many expressions that ruin it at times for me. The voice has to appeal to you individually and if it does then he or she becomes good for you
