See thats it for you put romance above everything you like them type of soft voices so you like him, others don't and others find his voice too thin and wavering and effort induced when he goes high pitch, Sonu too me has to many expressions that ruin it at times for me. The voice has to appeal to you individually and if it does then he or she becomes good for you

He has a very contemporary voice .

What reach and how effortlessly he has sung

Sonu Nigam is overrated, he has talent but for me, I would prefer to listen to KK songs than Sonu songs.

I made this post with no intention of either degrading Sonu or kk. To me both are God-gifted. And I love both their songs and find them both above average singers especially when compared to the yo-yos of today. To my surprise and shock I find people not only judgemental but derogatory towards Sonu. And I can't unders why.

If you talk about voice control: check this out and tell me one song of kk which is this difficult to sing:

1) soona soona

2)satrangi re

Name one song of kk that's classical -

Name one song of kk that's a qawali-

1) tumse milke dil ka hai (sung in two octaves it's one of the most difficult songs to sing)

2) qayamat Ho (he changed his voice for this one to sound like a qawal)

If you talk of range Check this song #terajadoochalgaya.

Or a song called Naman hain... which is a well mixed c5. No singer of present gen including kk has reached that range.

If you talk of throw..check out his throw in soniyo or Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin.

You mainly like kk becoz of his voice texture and his style of singing. And also becoz he has sung some nice romantic songs in the past decade. Which is fair. And accepted. As I've mentioned a hundred Times before and made many posts about. But please don't be derogatory towards Sonu and call him overrated. If anything, he deserves much more for the talent he has.

Sony's voice is sweet and nice.. But KK's IMO is sexy ☺️ I had such a hugeee crush on his voice ❤️

Both are awesome but Sonu is something else.
