On Topic- Its very rare to see a mainstream actor do a niche film, where there isn't a single known face, I mean its not just the leading lady is a debutant, the entire support cast comprises of either newcomers or unknown faces. Literally not a single known face barring Varun.

Liked what Shoojit said about cutting trailer in a way to not give out the whole plot in 2 minutes clip itself & loved how Varun explained that October is NOT really a love story, but its a story about Love, selfless love❤️ there'd big difference.

Reminded me of Lootera.

Varun's voice is grating on my ears. He should learn voice modulation and not sound like a tapori in each and every movie.

Banita hardly made any impact. She reminds me of Sridevi's second daughter.

Those flowers have some religious value... my mom used to ask me to bring them, and we are supposed to collect only the ones that fall on the ground. My mom would insist I and only I collect them(she believed it would do me good :p ). And usually, every tree sheds many many of those little flowers all around/under it, the entire ground remains covered by those flowers.. it's a beautiful fragrant flower.

I wonder if some older members here know more about this flower.

As for the trailer, enjoyed it.. curious:)

I thought I was the only one who didnt like his voice/dialogue delivery.

That elastic wala underwear dialogue where he shouts at the employees, it would have sounded so much better if had a strong voice.

Varun's voice is conflicting with the vibe the trailer is trying to create.
Apart from that, trailer is okay. I didn't find it amazing or awful..

I didn't want to comment since i didn't want to be the only one saying negative things but now that everyone said it...Varun's dialogue delivery, voice modulation and accent is HORRIBLE.

That said, that movie looks like a good watch, my kinda movie.

The story seems similar to Sadma. Varun's act of that innocent boy, madly in love with a girl who does not want his attention, or as in this case cannot respond to his attention, is quite like Badrinath and Humpty.

i see no variation in his acting or choice of role, the only difference is in the mood of the movie. I wish Varun was able to emote better with his eyes.

I think the story is this girl was in love with him when they were in college, but he never noticed her much. After they finish internship n become hotel employee she faces an accident n he gets to know she was looking for him before entering coma. Now he'll take care of her n will gradually fall for her while she has forgotten him due to the accident .

Anyways the trailer is pretty good,boring at places but mostly beautiful and serene.gives a Korean drama Japanese movies vibe,I don't know why.
