good trailer, good subtle acting from Varun such roles suit him, the beard suits him too it might be the typical mill type but presented differently, he needs to work on his dialog delivery, the new gen is full of squeakers

Is Banita's name Shiuli in the movie? It was written on that bag in that hospital scene..
Also,in all the poster that flower had a prominent place.

I have a feeling that VD will put In a performance which will be nominated a lot come award season. Banita is quite beautiful & seems to be a natural in front of the camera.

I always find it funny when * kids do roles where they've to do a lot of work/ jobs that are seen as under-privileged. 😆 I I wonder if they pick up tips on such jobs & apply them to their highly luxurious lives that they've led since birth. 😆

Yes. Her name is Shiuli & Dhawan's is Dan, in the film. Those flowers obviously are meant to be symbolic. Of what, we will only know when we watch the film but the way they've been used everywhere, there important to the story.

SHiuli flowers bloom at night and you find them fallen all over the ground in Dawn, they mainly bloom during October time I think,cz during Durgapuja these SHiuli flowers start blooming , it has a very nostalgic touch to it and Shoojit being a Bengali used this symbolism n nostalgia maybe, they're also called called the "tree of sorrow", because the flowers lose their brightness during daytime, might be a metaphor for the female lead's vulnerable life .

Meh...
Fascinating how all you have to do is slow down a pace a bit...play some violin in the background and the communal reaction is...oh teri art film...superb performance...critics...Oscars.. .😆

Varun is terrible...there's literally nothing in those eyes...no pain, no intrigue...no emotion and let's not even go to his dialogue delivery and voice modulation. He always speaks in his same tapori manner no matter what the situation. Even the Violins can't help.

Expected better from Shoojit, but if Varun can get this to 100 Cr, I'll consider him the Next superstar far far ahead of anyone else.
