True that...but u never know...DP and Veeru are going to tie the knot soon and who knows DP is sacrificing for her man's future by doing a flowerpot role...after all DP is a bigger crowd puller than Veeru at the moment.👍🏼

She is demanding too much money. That's why she is unemployed. Can't believe she will work in movie like Simmba. Simmba will be mostly typical rohit shetty film with little or no work for heroine

DP these days is reminding me of Kajol. Kajol lost her interest in films at the peak of her career. She refused film like HDDCS and chose movies like Dil Kya Kare and Raju Chacha. Deepika is going through the same route.

Only Kajol hadn't been absent from the industry for 2 years, was not refusing movies due to a price hike and in fact had good offers. Kajol didn't leave the industry cuz the offers had dried up, she was at the top of her game with people lining up to sign her. In contrast it seems DP might get hitched just because her career seems to be washed up. She will be 33 by the time she comes up with her next movie and if we are comparing her to Kajol then Kajol at 30 was a mother of a child and was delivering a blockbuster and winning her 4th award. 🥱

Deepika is out of her mind for charging 12 crores. These days the big budgeted movies are Khan starers and they don't have roles or need for someone like Deepika. The rest of the movies are medium budget movies, which cannot accommodate DP's 12 crores. She needs to take a minute a analyze the damage she has done (and is still doing) to her career. She is not some exceptional actress that filmmakers cannot do without, she has proved with Padmaavat that she is mediocre. She could've achieved so much had she not fallen prey to her jealousy of Priyanka and tried a hand at Hollywood. But looks like the damage is irreversible now.

Deepika is practical and calculative. If she was really interested about her career then she would have definitely charged lower. It's not that she is earning 12 crores from some other source. She has lost interest in films. So only if she gets a high amount, she signs for money. She does not care about her number one status anymore. Her PR has also stopped publishing articles daily.

Kajol was fabulous in Dkk and good in rju chacha .

I don't know what's true and what's not.

But Rohit said simmba is not exactly like Temper.

So maybe he increased the female lead's role here.

Let's not forget he made Meenamma.

I'd like to be surprised here.

Her movie has been indefinitely postponed, otherwise she would be neck deep in shooting right now. How could she have foreseen this situation arising? No one has a backup project signed on if the first one fails to take off. It has been only 10 days since news of Irrfan's illness came along and in light of her own health issues she will need to consider afresh which script to sign on. She cannot just announce a project right away more so if she does not like it since any other movie will be her 2nd best choice, and it will take a few months for any project to begin. So these are things beyond her control.

Delay in Padmaavat messed up her schedule.She has not been whiling away her time at all. After BM released she was busy for most of 2016 and early 2017 with XXX and trying her luck in Hwood by networking and socialising. All of 2017 went into Padmaavat. 2018 was going to be the year she focused on Sapna Didi and had PV not gotten delayed, they could have released the movie in October as originally planned.

I do not understand how you concluded then that she has lost interest in films. As for her fees, maybe if she really loves a project and needs to take a pay cut for it she will. Not wanting to settle for second best is not equivalent to losing interest.
