Nope I actually felt Sonu was more of a villain. They didn't show even one bad quality of sweet to justify that she is a bad girl. Only thing they showed is that she is a gold digger but I don't think there's anything wrong in it as its a arranged marriage.

Sonu lied to Titus ex Gf and tried bringing her back into Titu's life when he himself had initiated their breakup long back saying she didn't deserve him.

Actually Sonu was more of a villain than Sweety 😆
But no doubt she wanted to control Titu & wanted no interference from Sonu whatsoever. Tbh she was justified in this because nobody would like his/her partner's friend to interfere in personal life.
They didn't actually clear in what way she was a gold digger.
In my opinion, the whole plot was about friendship vs love. Like what would Titu choose between his friend and love. So even if he believed Sweety was indeed good, the moment it came to Sonu he would always choose him & he did that.
