Ok it seems there were appetizers but little thin on main course. mouth watering names though lol, i need to explore south indian food...dosa sambhar idli...heard these names a lot...also never tried gujrati/maharashtar type foods..

yeah i eat aaloo tarkari at home on weekends..but when I am back home in Pakistan every weekend I use to get it from a local sweet shop...sweet shops there make puri tarkai nashta on weekends... i miss that the most here. maybe because i was the one who use to like it most. others in my family dont care that much.

its a blessing to be in those country and eat that food...US has its own advantages in terms of job, education, money, discipline, cleanliness...but not even close when it comes to food, fresh fruits and veggies.

good u r a food diva...lol. hepatitis a i think can happen due to food / water...common there.

have a great trip to lucknow...these are very famous names...lot of people i know are from these areas or migrated from these areas and still have family in these areas..

dont worry about the profile..is buddhay kay profile main kuch nahi rakha ..

Hindi and Urdu are very similar in terms of speaking words...i write in Urdu. But due to similarity Hindi Bollywood movies are basically Urdu movies to me..also lyrics in songs are heavily driven from Urdu poetry.

Yes many American Indian and Pakistanis I have noticed can speak these languages but cannot read or write.. I was not born in America so I know how to read write Urdu.

Never tried yellow ones..here almost every second day i eat watermelon. here in US its available all the time

south indians are many here in US and many indian restaurants are south indian.. i have tried hyderabadi briyani many times but not these fancy names like dosa idli and sambar...because these dishes are 10 dollars ++ so dont want to take a risk. lol

people like us are confused...we remember back home but then not ready to get back home ...people there say ok dont do drama of loving ur own country when u cannot come back. problem is we have invested so much that we cannot just leave easily. but sure i am son of soil of that region ...will go back. i was not born here.

u r good ..,i just speak the truth. i know since my topic does not attract many u do think ok lets give him company..i am a good judge of people

After eating my own breakfast at 6.30 am in the morning...sandiwch + tea I was feeling kindda hungry. Uusually I go out for a walk at around 11 then eat some snacks to keep me going till late afternoon when I eat lunch at home

Luckily as I was going to make tea i saw lot of stuff in offive break room. Bagel jam coffee and fruits...i gulped the fruits first and then toasted half bagel with jam. lol

Nothing like free stuff.

I suspect there will be pizza this afternoon as there is aguest meeting.

I will be on the look and do chakkar of break room to find few slices.

Since i dont meat outside my options are limited i.e. cheese or veggie pizza

there have been several incidents when these are gone first and lot of peperroni chicken type stuff there..so i have been left out few times

Pizza comes from a quality restaurant..very thin...rustic ...

This is to let you all concerned people know that Daada Hippo is alive and kicking ..he has survived another day. lol

Weather is getting lovely here in northeastern US and temperature are rising...Hippo's old bones are getting the heat and blood circulation is improving. Soon uncle Hippo will be in shape for summer

Uncle Hippo is a legendary swimmer and looks forward to swimming.

Hippo is planning to get those circular pools with 4 feet depth...those pool are really nice...from outside it looks like u are swimming as an olympian while inside ur feets are on ground and u r walking. lol
