Results from Study on Anushka Sharma's fluffiness + Hippo's Blog

I conducted a study/survey on if Anushka is Fluffy or not. I am going to submit an abstract based on my research. Please go through my abstract and read it through and suggest edits.

ABSTRACT

Purpose: To check for fluffiness of Bollywood lead actress Anushka Sharma.

Introduction: Based on observation presented by IF (India Forum) Guru Hippopotamus, this study aims to test whether members of IF agrees to fluffiness of Ansuhka Sharma. Hippopotamus is a renowned scientist who studies bollywood actresses. His famous work include exposing Priyanka Chopra as wannabe and concluding Aishwariya and Deepika as over hyped and not good looking. Hippo is backed by his 160 IQ and fair and balanced analytical methods.

Methods: Members of India forum were asked the question " Is Anushka Sharma Fluffy?". They were given 2 options; Yes and No. Two days of time was given for voting. Only members who voted or commented were included in the analyses. Those quietly checking the topic and not commenting were excluded. Crude rate defined as "rate of fluffiness" was calculated based on equation: Yes/No. Rate of greater than 1 was concluded as Fluffy and Rate less than 1 will be considered Not fluffy.

Besides this lead author (Hippopotamus himself) based on members posting, their views, their history calculated a bias/jealous/insecurity index. This index along with gender distribution was used to calculate an adjusted rate of fluffiness.

Results: 14 votes were polled in duration of 2 days. Majority of the posters in topics were girls. The crude rate of fluffiness was 6/8= 0.75 which pointed towards no fluffiness. However after adjusting for gender and bias/jealous/insecurity index, the adjusted rate of fluffiness was 1.75.

Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, after accounting for all factors, we conclude that Anushka Sharma is indeed fluffy. Lead author Hippopotamus points this to her pristine, clean, cute, beautiful face. Majority of the fluffiness came from her cute and soft cheeks, Figure 1. There were other beauty related features noted as well like slim body structure, perfect smile and happy nature. However they were not part of the analysis. In future lead author is working on study "Does Fawad Khan Looks like a Mouse?"

Clearly majority thinks Anushka isn't fluffy but rather boney who cackles like a witch

I guess u r not familiar with research

Sample population matters a lot. That needs to be accounted for and the adjusted rate you get is the true independent rate without any bias. I adjusted for gender. More girls were voting and it seems girls are insecure of anushka and does not sees her fluffy. When that factors was accounted for then rate of fluffiness went up. Bias/Jealousy/insecurity towards Anushka was another factor which correlates itself with gender was also taken into account.

Hence adjusted rate went up to 1.75 and Anushka was declared fluffy by this study.

I hope this description of research methodology was helpful.

So majority rejected fluffiness.. how many 'NO' votes did you cancel out because they were from ~girls who are jealous of Anushka~ to change the rate from 0.75 to 1.75?

Well thanks for enlightening me abt ur methodology and please ! I'm most definitely not jealous/ insecure or biased towards Anushka. She is so over hyped by you. It's quite endearing to see you make threads about her nonexistent beauty lol But ya whatever floats your boat. My comment was more to rile you up in a jest then to question your authenticity of the survey.
And your survey is just sooo sexist! should have put a disclaimer in your poll regarding all these terms and conditions then maybe more male members would have come to vote no lol

Hawas,

It is not about cancellation. Hippo did not do anything, It is the software which gives this result and it is about weight. For example if there are 4 boys and 10 girls and we know that girls are biased against anshka and insecure of her fluffiness then software will give less weight to girls in ADJUSTED RATE. The adjusted rate we get is basically a rate which would have been true if population of boys and girls were 50-50. This is how it works, hawas.

Sample of 10 is enough to come to a conclusion ..but real power (i mean stats power) would be achieved if there were more votes..however people dont participate in my topics much and quietly read it ..because hippo himself has many enemies here. lol. hippo se bhi bohat log insecure hain

par poor innocent cure hippo remains content and move on.

and no this is not sexist..it controls for sexism (i adjusted for gender) and gives an adjusted rate independent of gender

Good question...good question. I should add a line: The limitation of the study was that voting was blinded therefore gender was ascertained based on members who posted in the topic and percentage was applied to votes.

This is how applied gender in analysis.

People have accused me of that...i shout go anushka go...hippo is with you..kadam barhao anushka main tumhare saath hun...when she barhaos kadam and looks back hippo is not there. lol
