I still can't accept that she is no more...i was just watching Laadla...her character as arrogant sheetal jaitely worth applause...her trademark 'understand...u better understand'...she overshadow vijayshanti in the tamil version mannan...her sexy n seductive dance on Dhik Ta Na Na...i just can't take my eyes from her...of course her chemistry with anil is always beautiful...the fire n arrogance in sheetal to change of heart in the end was portrayed beautifully by sridevi...

this film was actually done by divya...she did a good job too...i saw a few scenes in YT...but sridevi was class apart...she took it to another level completely

Boney Kapoor to make documentary on Sridevi

The entire country stood still when the news of Sridevi's untimely demise broke. The actress had gone for a wonderful vacation to Dubai, attending her nephew's wedding, when the unfortunate incident took place.

She died of accidental drowning in her hotel bathtub. The speculations began after people thought it's not possible to drown in their bathrooms. However citing examples of Elvis Presley and Jim Morrison, made us believe that maybe it's not that uncommon.

Her family, Boney Kapoor, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor were devastated by the big loss. After, slowly they are emerging from the grief. Janhvi, also celebrated her birthday with family last night. And now Boney Kapoor is thinking of making a documentary on his wife and India's first female superstar.

It will be a kind of one-stop visual legacy on her life and cinema, with the rarest of rare footage and voices of everyone who mattered in her life, says the source, adding that Boney is thinking of getting his old friend Shekhar Kapoor to helm the project. A friend also spoke about their family saying, "Boney is very disturbed by what he considers untruths that are being spread about his wife's death, says the friend. "As far as he's concerned, they had a perfect marriage. He spends a lot of time now reliving their golden moments together.

Well, we can't wait to watch the film on her life and good times

Mumbai: Sridevi's demise came as a shock to one and all, and the actress has now departed for a better world.

Her husband Boney Kapoor and daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor had immersed her ashes in Rameswaram a few days back, and now DNA reports that Boney will pray for the actress in Haridwar.

"Conducting prayers at Haridwar is a significant custom for Hindus, especially for those who are from North India. And Boney wants to ensure that he goes through the rituals at the holy place, the insider told the daily.

Bollywood's all-time queen, Sridevi, who passed away on February 24 due to accidental drowning in a bathtub in Dubai left many in shock. The late actress, who ruled Hindi cinema for decades, created magic on screen with her stunning avatars. Sridevi was often seen sporting designer Manish Malhotra ensembles. The two were extremely close to each other as well. Good friend Manish has now decided to carry forward her legacy.

He plans to archive all of Sridevi's favourite designer pieces bearing his label and keep them for her daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor. Sridevi quite much proved herself as the ultimate and first fashionista of Bollywood. In her last outing at Mohit Marwah's wedding in Dubai Sridevi was seen looking like a million bucks in her MM designer outfits. Sridevi groomed her daughters to be as stylish as her.

Pictures of Manish with Sridevi and her daughters were seen on the internet as he posted them in memory of the icon. On the day of her demise, MM even posted a picture with Sridevi and her younger daughter Khushi saying, "This was our last picture together and just 4 days ago... I will never able to get over this loss.

With this gesture of Manish Malhotra, it would be great to see Sridevi's daughters flaunting their late mom's favourite attires someday.

Sridevi's ashes immersed in Bay of Bengal off Chennai coast

CHENNAI: Late actor Sridevi's ashes were immersed in the Bay of Bengal off the Injambakkam coast in Chennai by husband Boney Kapoor and daughters Jhanviand Khushi on Friday.
The actor, who died in Dubai on February 24 at the age of 54, was accorded a state funeral in Mumbai on Wednesday.

On Friday, the Kapoor family, accompanied by a priest, performed asthi visarjan on the Injambakkam beach. They returned to Mumbai on a private plane the same day, Chennai police sources said.
