Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has always
managed to impress everyone with his
movies which scream of grandeur and
intricate details.
His last directorial Padmaavat has been a
global phenomenon with the movie
grossing over Rs 500 crore worldwide. The
movie starred Ranveer Singh, Deepika
Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in the lead
roles.
A leading daily recently met up some of the
senior actors who play historical characters
in Bhansali's films. On the condition of
anonymity, the actors revealed some
startling facts about SLB's working style on
sets.
One of the key artists from Padmaavat
revealed, "He gets very angry on the sets.
But this is because he needs the shot to be
similar to his vision. There's no scope for
anyone of us to make any mistakes.

When asked if Ranveer Singh also faced
Bhansali's heat, the artist said, "Yes! Many
times he not only shouted at Ranveer but
even told him, Tere se nahi hoga, chal ghar
chalte hai (you can't do it, let's go home),'
and much more."
However, the case is not the same when it
comes to Deepika Padukone, he revealed.
"Oh! She's his darling! Deepika is really
focused and tries to follow director
Bhansali's instructions very carefully, leaving
no room for him to get angry with her, a
bunch of artists said.
Showering praises for the director, they
added, "He explains everything to all of us
very calmly and with heartfelt enthusiasm.
But after having explained it to us several
times, if someone makes a mistake, anyone
will get irritated. Especially if an actor
repeatedly makes mistakes.
Bhansali celebrates his birthday today.
