I think you're forgetting Deepika's rise was in 2013. Ram Leela was the movie that catapult her to the top followed by YJHD and other back to back hits. love aaa kal, cocktail and Race 2 were all before that and Saif was still giving successes. So no. Deepika was definitely on the rise; but had not gotten her starpower yet. If anything her films with Saif contributed to her hits. She was a newbie in LAK. And prior to cocktail and race, she was doing movies like houseful with multi star cast.
