How sweet that people try to find ways to troll him since Padmaavat didnt flop as some people were dreaming here for that.

He can call himself an outsider when the whole Film industry calls him outsider and even mentiones him when the nepotism debate starts to say seee how a Ranveer Singh made it on his own.

Also gatecrashing parties doesnt mean he was invited to the parties of those filmy people. And he is not socially akward so its normal that he will find a way to get to know these people or get Tel. numbers and do whatever he can to get an opportunity to showcase his talent. And its HIS Talent that made people notice him and gave him the opportunity not that he is some relative of so and so.

Whats funnier is that back then people wrote that his father invested 10cr but never mentioned the kapoor family. How come that they kept silent till now all of them(Media/Kapoors). And why didnt several articles came out about calling Ranveer out that he is no Outsider 😆

Maybe his father was rich back then.So him saying they had a financial problems is maybe true to think that his father is an investor. Maybe he lost also a lot of money when the financial crises happened. Who knows?

He might be from an affluent family but is in no way an insider.Nobody would have given him a second chance had his first film failed unlike a Ranbir Kapoor or an Alia Bhatt or a Sonam Kapoor. He is also not conventionally good looking like Siddharth Malhotra to get chances after chances despite giving mediocre performances. People noticed him because his first film was a hit and he was very impressive in it. IMO whatever success he has had till now is because of his hard work and talent.

LOL saying he got attention as an outsider gate-crashing insiders parties... baita the only attention a real outsider would get for crashing BW Parties, would be from Mumbai police itself ...

Anil Kapoor can't even get his own son to do well, how is he going to help Ranveer? And underneath all teh glitz n glamour, they're just like middle class families where there's jealousy and competition between sibilings and their kids. The only reason Arjun was so warm towards Ranveer is because their off screen chemistry was so loved. You could see in the KwK episode that Arjun was jealous of Ranveer

Arjun Kapoor I have noticed is kinda jealous of Ranveer.

Wen the flag bearer of nepotism kjo calls Ranveer an outsider then it shows Ranveer is considered an outsider in the industry, they don't put him in the insider or star kid category
