Tbh I find sarees uncomfortable for everyday wear. It's an occasional wear for youth these days. How does one pee while wearing that? LOL.

Try wearing tight Jeans in Indian toilet. Indian wear is suited for Indian toilet, western wear is suited for western toilet. Simple. 🥱

Actually the term Indian toilet is incorrect as well. Korean toilets are similar too. They don't wear Indian wear do they? 😆
Also, Tight jeans, treggings, jeggings, leggings, everything works with Indian toilets. Never faced an issue. 😕

But there are rarely any indian toilet in public places or offices these days. I would kill for one. I find western toilets beyond dirty in public places.

And to be honest not every sasuma these days encourages or forces sarees too. Mine one never did and as a result till date I dont know how to wear saree, and in fact I have pulled my sasuma to this side of the story and now she feels more comfortable in salwars 😆

Also, saree can be the most vulgar dress if one intends to make it one.

Such nonsense wasn't expected from some one so talented as him . So disappointing.
The statement is WRONG and IDIOTIC at so many levels that I consider it as waste of my time to even discuss about it with details.
I'm a proud Indian and I hate wearing saree. Such an inconvenient unsmart uncomfortably outdated dress. It'll go completely out of daily wear late alone fashion circle sooner or later.

I used to wear sari for a while for work when I worked in the state sector and as I didn't know how to drape one when I got the job my mom got me pre stitched versions which took 3 mins to wear max and considering how much easier it was in the morning lol i never learned to drape one. And I'm just fine with that
Someone should tell these types exist too if it's a must to wear which isn't the case for this generation except for functions

I am really surprised at the responses here. As an American desi, I literally look forward to events like Holi and Diwali just to deck up in Indian ethnic wear (saree), so do most of my brown friends and family!

Tbh I love wearing sarees when I intend to dress up. Worn it many times too and have been quite proficient in draping it ever since I was a kid coz I really fancied it. I find Saree more comfortable than a lehenga but the peeing part always makes it tricky😆
