Cupid stare? It has been written about extensively? I think not. I'm in film studies, never heard of it. I went through my university's library system (my university is one of the world's top, so its library is also premium and holds just about every text possible) to see if scholars have written about it and I just missed it, but nope, not one article or essay is present about this "cupid stare". What a joke.

Heath Ledger is a legend? Millions of actors are better than him and maybe since they are alive they don't count as legend.

Makes so much more sense now 😆 But still that stare is not exclusive to Ledger, as if it's some super difficult thing to do that only he's mastered. Every villain in film does it. Just tilt your head down, and look up beneath the eyebrows. Voila.
