But whats wrong in what he said? If taken literally, he played the positive character, the heroic Rajput King so he IS the HERO of the film

And RS played the antagonist, who is a fiendish invader, cruel monster, so he IS the villain

The film is about the Rajputs..The film would have been rejected in India..if the public didnt feel pride in the way he represented them and If he was unequal to Khilji..who in any case defeated him.

See, there's nothing wrong on what he said. Ranveer played the negative character so he's the villain whereas Shahid's character is a positive one, he's the hero.
