Both Ajay Devgan & Randeep Hooda are doing the same films based on the same subject respectively. At the momemt both movies are put on hold.

Rajkumar Santoshi was supposed to start this movie with Randeep but has faced financial issues just like most of his shelved projects.

Ajay might direct the movie himself or he may look for another director as Tinu Suresh Desai is no longer a candicate. He said it will be done a huge scale even bigger than Shivaay.

It's basically 300 except instead of 300 Spartans it was only 21 Sikhs.

Sadly, this greatest act of valor and bravery in Indian history is lost in the textbooks so much so that most Indians dont know about it. But internationally the UN rates it among the 8 greatest acts of Bravery. The Indian Army celebrates Saraghari Day to remember these brave soldiers.

It has to be on the scale of Bahubali to do any sort of justice to this great true story. Akshay, Ajay, Kjo should've teamed up to make an Epic.
