The makers of upcoming film Befikre' has unveiled a couple of hot posters which has its lead cast Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor in a passionate lip-lock. Bold and intimate scenes and smooches form an integral part of romantic films. While several Bollywood actors like Alia Bhatt, Sushant Singh Rajput, Siddharth Malhotra, Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and others have no qualms kissing on screen, there are some actors who refuse to lock lips in their movies even if the script demands'.

Salman Khan has played the role of a romantic hero in a number of films, but has never done a kissing scene in any of his movies. He did agree to kiss his heroine in the 1989 blockbuster Maine Pyar Kiya', but the leading lady Bhagyashree was uncomfortable. So it was dropped.
Salman's protegee Sonakshi Sinha who debuted opposite the superstar in the 2010 film Dabangg' also has a no-kissing clause for all her movies. She did have lip lock scenes in her movies like Holiday' and Once Upon A Time in Mumbai Dobaara', but she didn't actually perform the act.
Asin Thottumkal who shot to fame with her Bollywood debut Ghajini' opposite Aamir Khan has always strictly maintained her no-kissing stance on screen, even if the script demands. The actress got married to Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma in January this year and has taken a break from film career.
Riteish Deshmukh who has starred in adult comedy series Masti' holds that kissing is a very private and intimate act and that isn't comfortable doing it for the rest of the world. He has held on to his no on-scree kissing' rule for his films.
Tamanna Bhatia who starred in Bollywood movies like Entertainment', Humshakals' and the mega blockbuster Baahubali' among others, like her south counterpart Asin, refuses to don a bikini or kiss on screen. According to her, she is not comfortable doing such scenes.
Bollywood beauty Shilpa Shetty has never smooched on screen in her entire career. However, it became a huge controversy when Hollywood actor Richard Gere impulsively kissed her on the cheek during an AIDS-awarness rally in 2007.
Ajay Devgan, better known now as an action star, has never locked lips with his heroines in any of his films. He did plant kisses on the cheek, forehead or neck of his screen lovers, but never brushed lips.
Pakistani singer-actor Ali Zafar who has also starred in some Bollywood movies, has a no-kissing' clause highlighted in his film contracts. It is said that a body-double was hired for the lip-lock scene with Aditi Rao Hydari in his 2012 film London Paris New York'.
Unlike his father Dharmendra and brother Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol too hasn't lip-kissed on screen. Whenever he had to do kissing scenes due to the scripts' demand, the scenes were cleverly shot with his back to the camera. It appeared that he was kissing, but actually he was not.
