Akshay Kumar is now being called George Clooney of India and the superstar is quite happy with this tag. At the song launch of Padman, Akshay Kumar expressed his happiness on being called George Clooney. He said, "Bahut achcha lagta hai. Woh to bahut bade insaan hain. To be called George Clooney is a very big compliment. Main ise bahut achchi tarah leta hoon.
Bill Gates has seen Akshay Kumar's film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. Reacting on this, Akshay said, "I was on stage when I saw my phone and Bill Gates name appeared on my screen. It's amazing that he watched and appreciated my film.
The superstar is happy that his film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha has brought a big change towards open defecation. He said, "Hamare desh mein aur sudhar aana chahiye. Earlier one and half year back 54 percent of India was open defecation was a problem. Now it has come up to 34 percent. Things are looking up and I hope I make a difference with Padman as well. Around 82 percent women in India don't use sanitary pads and with the help of everyone, with the help of media and with the help of government, with the help of this movie I hope the whole number comes down because it's a very essential thing.
