Soha has only one 1 supporting Actress award -- IIFA 2007. And Kangu wasn't even nominated for IIFA that year.

Also, it was Konkona who was nominated from the film and also won for supporting actress in Metro according to IMDB.

Why is she lying for no reason? I have seen so many awards shows where they give the award to somebody who is not present and someone else picks it up for them.

They don't decide at the last minute to change the person they're giving it to because someone didn't show up. And it's not like Supriya Patak Or Soha are some big stars that can steal an award from Kangana.

Btw, it's not just Kangana. A lot of BW stars behave like this where if they don't get an award, it's rigged and unfair and must be pulled down. Such crab mentality. National Awards have been a total joke as well but that's okay according to her since she got them.

quite possible going by her audacity to talk rubbish om national tv ans still having a career . It is possible only if one has a sugar daddy of that kind..(politician/mafia etcetera)

She is not the first person to call out bollywood awards. Bollywood awards have lost their credibility since ages. You hardly see the stars attending unless they are getting awards or performing/hosting. Even industry people know it's a scam. TV people get their TRP's, sponsors get their products advertised, people who have lobbied get their trophy, people who perform get their heavy paycheck, B/C listers get to flaunt their dresses, Rekha gets to present the award to Best Actor/Actress. In the end it's the audience who's gets fooled.

+100... but anything Kangana spearheads attracts attention.

Many before her have called out on awards (mainly actors). She is the first mainstream actress to be vocal about it and explained very well many times before (also in this chat)... that they are what they are, she isn't ridiculing them but they are not for her because of the shenanigans that goes on.

Yes... for her to make a point, she had to do it in her peak years. Else who cared whether she attended or not until 2014 (she said the same thing 😆). She is aware of the repercussions which also includes not being nominated this year.

Her reward is her future challenging acting opportunities, which are still plenty.

I love Rajeev's tidbits on Sonam's critics award win and how Jitesh himself said "you know how this all goes" 🥱

Plus Anu and Rajeev lamenting... "Who are the critics handing out the awards?" 🤣

I quoted you because you quoted Kangana. My reply was to Kangana's claim not you. The point is about character and past behavior predicting future behavior. How many times can someone allow a liar to lie to them before you start giving some of the blame to the person who keeps believing without thought (generic - not necessarily you and not necessarily Kangana - any liar and any gullible believer)? When a pathological liar says something self aggrandizing it always crosses my mind that perhaps it's another lie and frequently one little google search shows it is.
