well amir is now too aged to play Krishna..
he could rather play Drona's role..
he was also a shrewd shady char..amir can nail it..
as for Krishna i still rooting for mahesh babu..
n arjun could be prabash n duryodhan could be ranveer singh..
he will blow it up..sakuni mama could be srk ..he aces in negative roles..
bhisma surely has to be ab sr..shikhandi could be ranbir kapoor..
alia can play uttara..imo..

I dont know how Aamir can pull of playing ANY Hindu god at all... there wasnt anything in Padmavati to object over, but still they have successfully postponed its release.
last year there was an issue Nawaz playing a Hindu god in a small city (as he is a Muslim) so im not sure how well Aamir playing a Hindu God in such a huge movie will be viewed as

having said that i really hope they get Hrithik to play Shiva or Karna

Don't touch Mahabharata right now. Bollywood isn't ready. Add to that this modern PC age, controversies would be scathing. Don't want to see these folks bollywoodize Mahabharata either.

Indian Cinema is at least a decade away from making epics like Mahabharata and Ramayana for the big screen. Before Mahabharata, I'd first like to see Bollywood try its hand on historical characters--something Bolly folks are hopeless at. Bahubali is of course an exception. Then again, Bahubali is not from Bollywood.

If the Khans were ever to be casted, Salman would do well in Parshuraam's role, Aamir as Shakuni, and SRK would be good as Draupad. They don't have the disposition to play other characters anymore.

It is hilarious that people have to read Mahabharata in English though.
