Simmba is set to hit the screens on December 28

The live-wire of Bollywood Ranveer Singh is currently shooting for Rohit Shetty's Simmba in Hyderabad. The actor always give us all the updates and fun about this action-drama through his social media accounts. Ranveer celebrates his birthday on July 6 but this year seems to be very as he already received a gift a before that from a special person. No, it's not Deepika, we are talking about blockbuster director Rohit Shetty. The king of masala films has gifted a special watch to his lead star and Ranveer couldn't express his happiness without sharing with us through his Instagram account. The actor posted the picture with Rohit Shetty show his watch and captioned it, "Ecstatic!!! An early birthday present from The Boss! Quite easily the sexiest watch I've ever had! Thank you Sir! #whataguy @itsrohitshetty.

Simmba is the official remake of Jr NTR and Kajal Agarwal starrer Temper, which was a huge hit at the box office. Earlier the makers of the film dropped a funny video, where Ranveer Singh delivers a powerful dialogue, "Me star police Sangram Bhalerao, jo deto traas, tyacha me gheto class. Well, by looking at the buzz around the film, we are sure that Simmba will be a blockbuster. The cop drama will be shot in Hyderabad, Goa and Mumbai and is co-produced by Karan Johar under his banner Dharma Productions. It is set to hit the screens on December 28. On the professional front, Ranveer has already wrapped up the shooting of Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy which is set to hit the screens on February 14, 2019, during Valentine's day weekend. The film also stars Alia Bhatt in a lead role and is produced under the banner of Excel Entertainment. Post-Simmba, Ranveer will start shooting for Kabir Khan's '83, where he will portray the character of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev. It is scheduled to release on August 30, 2019.
