The problem with her is that she lacks confidence. she can but she is hesitant. on the other hand, look at sunny leone, she tries and speaks in hindi, even she knows she may pronounce words wrong.

I have no problems with her hindi, it's the acting that needs more work. But even then, as long as she doesn't do romance drama films like Jab Tak Hai Jaan, then I really have no problem with her characters. She does the bubbly and glamorous girl thing well. And chemistry wise, she suits with most current actors. She smartly plays up her strengths, rather than the weaknesses.

How long? Till the time she learns it well. Sridevi, Kangana, DP are all mocked for their accent then why not Katty?

It's alright. Katrina came from a complete different country with no idea or base of Hindi and she has gotten considerably better at the language. There's nothing to be ashamed but should be proud at the success she achieved as a complete outsider.

Congratulations on able to make out that she was speaking in Hindi. When I hear her try to speak I can't make out if it's Hindi or English or Chinese or Martian.

Maybe cos she is not the technically Indian and I feel some fans and some industry people are annoyed that she is ruling despite not being Indian. I mean what explains the fact when many were hailing DP for her 4 back to back successes as a great achievement, hailing her as Bollywood queen and lady superstar and whatnot. But the same people forget that after MD/SD it was only Katrina who managed to have repeated BO hits. I don't like her acting as much but should credit her where it's due. She may be low on success rate right now but she will remain the first one from her contemporaries to get clean as fantastic BO ratio.
