I have a conspiracy theory that the government, the Rajputs, and even some powerful members of the Bollywood fraternity are in cahoots and are constantly trying to sabotage this movie.

The scandals around this movie have been popping up everyday. I hope someone (hopefully free media) will conduct a sting operation and unearth the conspiracy.

Hmm, well the sena and the royals.

BW fratternity does not extend support in such cases..

Film industry trying to attack and spreading negative stuff came in only after Padman.. so I guess things are ok.. just the GOVT using KARNI sena and the issue to get some support in Gujarat.

As UP and Uttarakhand keep a close watch on 'Padmaavat', Goa gives green signal for the release!

Recently, the news of an official name change of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavati' broke out and it is now 'Padmaavat'. Amidst all the violence and agitation on the surface as the movie is nearing its release date, states are being extra cautious about the audience's reaction.

Karni Sena members have been quite adamant on the fact that they would impose a "curfew" no matter what the makers or the CBFC does. Thus, the UP and the Uttarakhand Government is trying to be watchful on any kind of violence that is on the brink to break out.

A senior Home Department official told a news agency on Wednesday that there was no order as such to ban the proposed release of the film in the state. "But, in view of the protest calls from some quarters and the law and order in mind, a close watch is being kept on the developments," he added.

A Karni Sena member also met up Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat in Dehradun, and asked him not to screen the film in the state. However, the Uttarakhand Government hasn't officially declared anything as of now.

While the Indian states are perplexed whether to screen the movie or not in their respective states, Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, Chief Minister of Goa has said that if 'Padmavat' has been given a censor certificate by the CBFC, then the Goa government does not have a problem in screening it in cinema halls.

He even gave his statement to media, "If they have a censor certificate we do not have any objection. If there is a law and order issue, we will look at it then. As of now, we have not got any intimation about the film being released. If there is a censor certificate, we are not stopping it from release..."

"If they come with a censor certificate with some modification, I do not see a big reason why we should interfere into it," added Parrikar.

I hope this movie will release in all the states..luckily this movie has no problem in my home state punjab..would love to watch for deepika and Ranveer.

Mr.Girish johar is already spreading lots of negativity about the movie but he is getting gud answers from padmavat fans.

That's probably because you don't know the actual story. Unlike you, I can perfectly see the context of each emotional state parallel to the plot events.
