Salman Khan is currently in Delhi as a guest for Hindustan Times Leadership Summit. The actor, who is awaiting the release of his next film, Tiger Zinda Hai, is down due to cold. He was asked questions ranging from his personal life to professional one, including Bigg Boss, and he answered all of them in front of hundreds of attendees. The host questioned him about the Harvey Weinstein scandal that shocked Hollywood recently and the subsequent emergence of equally disturbing cases. The obvious point was if our Hindi film, industry too is as dirty as the one in the west. Salman seems to not have any idea about any such cases in India.
"I hate the word Bollywood. I can't stand it Salman interrupts the host as he begins his question about the existence of casting couch in Hindi film industry. Truly, the actor is extremely emotionally involved with the trade. "No one has come and confirmed it. I have been for the longest time, my father has been here more than me. Till today I have not heard anyone come and say it straight out, he shared and added, "Now, being a beautiful woman or a man, someone or the other is going to flirt with you, he continued, and added, "But that is different from harassment.
"If someone is there with a principle that you have to sleep with them to get a job then it is the most disgusting thing ever, the actor said, with anger writ large on his face. "I have not heard anything like this. If a lady or a man comes up to me and tells me that something of the sort has happened with them, I will take them down to the cleaners, he concluded.
