Ananya Pandey from an elite family? She's Chunky Pandeys daughter..I would understand if Big B's granddaughter Navya attended but what's the hype all about. She's probably the most decent looking star kid out of all the average lot. Nothing breathtaking tbh. I don't get the hype around her. She always has a deer in headlights expression. Move on. Actresses like Kriti Sanon, Disha Patani and Niddhi Agerwal are way prettier than her

^Navya was going to attend but she cancelled at the last minute due to the terrorist threats in Europe at that time. She didn't go.

I find this whole thing so stupid. Nobody in India even knows what these debutante balls are or why they matter. How would it even help Ananya in anything? They just like doing anything white people do.

Oh this Ball is very much a thing & the upper-echelons anywhere, especially in India, are VERY much aware of this. People underestimate India tremendously but these sort of Balls have always been a huge fashion statement amongst the aristocracy since decades & decades. Now these huge industrial families too love sending their daughters to these Balls. Hence crass Ambanis, and other huge industrial families send their children here.. But the inclusion of Chunky Pandey's children, is HILARIOUS to me & yes, I don't see how this will kickstart their careers *In India*... Ahaan must be jumping with joy to be partnered with the Princess Of Belgium. Probably already married her in his head. He seems extremely social climbing/fame-hungry to me.

Ananya is very very pretty to me. Sharp features.
