BOI said yesterday the film's indeed decent run...with a minimun drop on wednesday...the film's just holding well and the weekend will definitely see a jump ... 👏👏👏

budget is 18 crores n it will be surpassed by week 1..

I honestly DID NOT EXPECT even a bit for Tumhari Sulu to do well even after great WOM or reviews..I don't know how it made possible..

But really happy for Vidya...she deserves it...she proves..that Acting's above everything else...kudos to the public also which I never had in faith.. this is a VICTORY for the content indeed.

Finally a thread worth replying on...

Yes I m happy

I saw the film last weekend and it's a v.nice movie...No doubt the theatre was 90 percent full and everyone raved abt the film when coming out..A good story is never rejected if told in the right manner

I think credit should also be given to manav kaul n full team of the movie and yes big congrats to Vidya...She needed it so bad...

I wish more movies like this come out..

I myself predicted the film will bomb..but the result is kinda suprising for me as well..

if not a big HIT then even a success would do for me. Vidya Rocks ! 🥳

Tumhari Sulu remains steady on weekdays

Tumhari Sulu, a film that was made on a tight budget of Rs. 17 crores has earned its due in no time. The movie that stars Vidya Balan, Manav Kaul, Vijay Maurya, Neha Dhupia and RJ Malishka has earned Rs 16.56 crores in its first five days at the box-office. The movie earned Rs. 2.87 crore on its first Friday, Rs. 4.61 crore on Saturday, Rs, 5.39 crore on Sunday, Rs 1.84 crore on Monday and Rs. 1.85 crore on Tuesday, pushing the earnings to a total of Rs. 16.56 crore. Trade analysts have predicted that the film would earn almost Rs 20 crores by the end of this week. If the collections grow over the second weekend, the film has a good chance to attain a sleeper hit status. With Padmavati's release getting postoned, Tumhari Sulu gets one more extra week without competition and that is bound to help the film's collections.

Critics have appreciated Vidya Balan's performance in the movie, and actors Manav Kaul and Neha Dhupia have also received positive feedback for their roles in the film. Vidya Balan plays an amiable housewife who gets a job as a RJ in a popular radio station in the film. What happens next in this lovable character's life is the journey on which this movie takes you, her life takes a sharp turn after getting that job, but will she be able to handle her personal life the way she always did?

oh boy.. you do feel good.. when a good movie and especially it has an actor like Vidya..

but you see this film is a success because the producers were really smart enough in the budget and marketing. Look if it had over-expanded, I don't think it would have done well. Look what happened with KAHAANI 2. I was really sad when kahaani 2 flopped that was such an awesome movie. although 2nd half sucked but still. Thankfully this time Vidya has managed to do it.

I'm actually a silent member here but threads like these makes me overjoyed with happiness. a great news to start the day. well done vidya ❤️👍🏼
