The media is absolutely disgusting and irresponsible giving attention to this type of stuff. It's irrelevant and it can lead to danger if some crazy person does try to get the bounty and hurt the actress.

It's the media that decides what is news and this crap should NOT be news. It should not be covered at all. Don't give these morons any attention. Stop publicizing beheadings, burning alive, nose cut off or whatever. They are shameless and creating half these problems themselves by instigating these people and giving them tons of free air time and publicity.

@bold very true...

just to give an example-

probably millions of people faced a problem from another Ambani brother - Anil Ambani who owns the Reliance telecom. starting the 1st of Nov the network went down, no call or sms possible because of all of a sudden RCOM decided to shut down the network... people, all over India, lost all their money they had recharged their phones with... were not being sent OTPs for mobile so that they could port to another network... some 15-20 days all RCOM customers were in so much trouble... but did anyone hear even a small bit of that news on media? however, the same media will hold an hour long debates on nuisance and give them free publicity...

Members of the Akhil Bhartiya Kshatriya Mahasabha (ABKM) burnt over a hundred effigies of Padukone, who plays legendary Rajput queen Padmavati in the movie, and Bhansali at Damodar Swarup park here and shouted slogans against them.

They also took out a march to the collectorate office and submitted a memorandum to the district magistrate demanding a ban on the release of the movie.

ABKM's youth wing leader Bhuvneshwar Singh said, "Deepika should know how it feels like to be burnt alive. The actress will never know the sacrifice of the queen. Any person burning her alive will be given Rs 1 crore. We demand that office- bearers of the organisation be shown the movie before it is released.

As of now, Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali have been given security by the government.an FIR HAS BEEN FILED AGAINST AMU PAL, THE PERSON WHO ANNOUNCED THE 5 CR RANSOM FOR BEHEADING DEEPIKA AND BHANSALI.

congress CM Amarinder pal has openly supported the preotesters.bjp cm chouhan has banned it in his state even before its release,

me and my mom are one of them... I had 120 in my prepaid balance, mom had 200...all were lost, if we port to another network, or if we stay with reliance, we will still lose the money, and we did, in one day...and nothing happened, reliance got away with it...

my father had a rcom number too...and it was kinda necessary to retain that number because our bank accounts were linked with that... par itni muskhil se jaa kar OTP mila and we could finally port out.

during that time i waited so see even a tiny bit of news abt that on any of our news channels, considering so many people were affected...but nada...no mention at all... while the same news channels were so proactive while informing users when RCOM shifted to GSM and 4G network... itni badi company ne itna bada dhoka kiya customers ke saath...and they got away with that without even a one minute news...and here we have big debates devoted on some nut-jobs who are only looking for cheap fame and publicity.

Indian media bhi bas tamasha ban ke reh gaya hai

I was not aware of Reliance Telecom scam. Considering the number of customers, scale must be big.
But all attention to 2 rupees people.
