Musically... yes, maybe. At the time, it was amongst the best-sellers of the year, but has stood the test of time - unlike (imo) the most-awarded album of 2000: Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai.

When it comes to the film, it's a resounding NO!! The film was dated even when it was launched in 1996!! Good performances from all but Dharmesh Darshan's films are actually awful and unwatchable in 2017.

The songs can be considered a classic but film isn't. An outdated story which has been done so many times the past. On the positive side, Suniel Shetty was excellent in negative shades. I was suprised to see him play this role when I was used seeing in action films that time.

Dhadkan will be one the films that people will remember him as well as Border & Mohra.

Sunil's performance was definitely the highlight of the film. He killed it as Dev.

Dhadhkan was the inspiration for Kahin Toh Hoga and Suniel's character was the inspiration for Sujal .. suniel shetty was brilliant and marvellous !! .. songs were beautiful .. can be termed as a classic !
