She deserves all the criticism for giving such a vague statement. She knows that people are very sensitive these days and tend to scrutinize every comment of the celebrity and I wish she was more cautious before making such an open statement, instead of saying that we have regressed as a nation, she could have mentioned that the perspective of a few people are regressing.

Having said that I still can't understand the growing protest against the movie Padmavati. I have read many comments on social networking sites saying that Padmavati was a revered woman never danced in front of the crowd, doesn't that indirectly implies that the woman who dance in front of a crowd is not deserved to be respected. And if the Goomar video song is one of the reasons for protest then it's really awful. And there is no justification for open threats, threatening to cut the nose of the woman is equal to threatening her dignity, how is it different from the action of the Taliban? . What they want now, Viacom agreed to screen the show to the Rajput leaders before the release of the movie, at least wait till the screening, if it has scenes which questions the dignity of the Queen then they have every right to demand for a ban.

And Rajputs claims that they never raised a hand against women, but there are many instances they indulged in crime against Dalit women, does that mean that Dalit woman are not woman according to them?

My mistake ,Lakshman's action and Taliban's action are different, but how is the threat of Karni Sena and Taliban's threat is different, though the reason are different, their way of protesting against the matters which they don't agree is same.

No, I am not interested in Dalit non Dalit women discussion, though I believe the problems of women in the upper caste is different from problems women face in a lower caste. It differs based on color in the west, it differs based on community. But all I was saying that how can Rajput claim that they never raised hand against women when studies claims that female infanticide and crime against women in the Rajput dominant areas are horrific.

threat of karni sena is till now just a threat... bol-bacchan...agar taliban hota to ab tak naak nahi pata nahi kya kya kat chuka hota...in reality... yes I agree their method is violent but how are their threats any different from those fatwas where a muslim girl is getting death threats simply because of teaching yoga... usko compare kiya kabhi aapne taliban se? for me karni sena's threats are the closest to those violent fatwas inciting people to shave people head, mutilate, or even kill people ...going so far as to putting a prize money on that violence like a supari...compare karna hai to ussey karo... but I know karogi nahi...kyunki dusre religions par jaane me to fat ti hai liberals or tolerance brigade ki.

rajput of earlier eras were much different from the later eras and almost poles apart from those existing now... their moral values and integrity were much different from now... Rajputs even had to pay the price for their moral values by losing many wars... against fighting with people who played by no morals or rules.

I never said that other religion are tolerant than hindus , I know that the hindus are still better than other religion in terms of tolerance . I am comparing the changes happened in the tolerance of hindus itself , they were more open minded than now .Now a days they are becoming narrow minded like other religion .
